The first New England Talent Show
for Asian children with special needs
April is World Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Month, and the United Nations has designated April 2nd as World Autism Awareness Day. In celebration of World Autism Month, iCan Fly hosted New England’s first talent show for Asian children with special needs.
On April 7, 2024, over 100 people came together in Watertown, MA, to watch and encourage more than 30 children with special needs showcase their unique abilities and talents. Both the city of Boston’s mayor, Michelle Wu, and Commissioner Gary Yu contributed special video messages of support.
